About the Examination
Age Limit :
Not more than 28 years
SC / ST / OBC / PWD / Ex-Servicemen would be eligible for age relaxation as per GOI guidelines which is as under :
i) By 3 years in upper age limit for OBC candidates.
ii) By 5 years in upper age limit for SC/ST candidates.
Educational Qualifications :
Degree of a recognized University in India in any discipline.
However, preference would be given to candidates having Computer Literacy and/or Experience on outsourced basis in a Bank.
Note : Bank reserves the right to raise / modify the eligibility criteria in educational qualification (including the percentage of marks secured as Graduation level) depending upon the response.
Scheme of Written Examination
The objective test comprise of
(i) Test of Reasoning;
(ii) Test of English Language;
(iii) Test of Quantitative Aptitude;
This General Aptitude Test followed by personal interview of the candidates who have qualified in the test.
Syllabus of the Examination
a) Test of Reasoning : It would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. This component will include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgement, decision making, visual memory, discrimination observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning, etc.
b) Quantitative Aptitude : This part will include questions on problems relating to number systems, computation of whole numbers, decimals and fractions and relationships between numbers, fundamental arithmetical operations, percentages, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit & loss, discount, use of table and graphs, mensuration, time & distance, ratio and time, etc.
c) English Language : This part will include questions on Error Recognition, Completion of sentences, Re-ordering of sentences, Passage completion, Comprehension, Idioms and Phrases, Synonyms and Antonyms and Basic English grammar etc.
